Taking Minutes in BoardBook Premier
The most popular topic that survey takers wanted to know more about was taking minutes. Taking minutes inside the BoardBook Premier program can be an incredible time saver. We have several resources to help you get started:

- Learn how to Upload Approved Minutes
Each of these resources will help you learn how to use the discussion, attendance, and voting tools that allow you to take minutes directly in BoardBook Premier and then export everything into a consolidated minutes report.
BoardBook Premier Templates
Templates were another hot topic in our recent user survey – and it’s no surprise! They’re a fantastic way to customize your agendas, notices, and minutes while streamlining your workflow.

Finally, don’t miss our Lunch and Learn sessions – we offer dedicated sessions for both report and meeting templates to help you make the most of these powerful tools.
Training Opportunities
Training was another popular topic on the survey. BoardBook users all have access to three varieties of training and training materials:
- Basic Skill and Advanced Features Training: These live, virtual classes are in-depth trainings on the BoardBook Premier program as a whole. You can register through the BoardBook website or the links listed below.
- Training and Support Resources page: This page hosts a collection of written and video guides to specific topics and features of BoardBook Premier. Find it by clicking the ? icon and then selecting BoardBook Administration and Meeting Management Help from the dropdown menu.
- Lunch and Learns: Once a month one of our BoardBook specialists hosts an in-depth presentation on a specific feature of BoardBook Premier. These live, virtual sessions give you the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about specific features. There is a schedule of upcoming Lunch and Learns in every newsletter and invitations are sent out a week prior.
Training Details
BoardBook Premier Basic Skills Training: This is a three-hour training that will cover everything you need to get started with BoardBook Premier. This course is perfect for new and backup compilers.
BoardBook Premier Advanced Features Training: This course covers topics such as managing goals and documents in BoardBook Premier and the electronic voting feature. This course is perfect for seasoned compilers who are looking to get more out of BoardBook.
